This Wedgwood Clarice Cliff collection of Bizarre Art Deco style Age of Jazz figures was estimated to sell for £70-£140, but sold for a very impressive £200 as part of our October online auction
Our live online auction this month took place on Friday 9th October and Saturday 10th October, following our new format.
The Friday featured over 200 unreserved tray lots of good tea, coffee and dinnerware, ceramics, glassware, bric-a-brac, metal ware, mixed pottery and collector’s items. We also had an array of gold and silver, watches, and jewellery. On the Saturday, we had a large quantity of furniture available and many other collectable household items, as well as some rifles and pistol lots available too.
As always, we had a wide range of 20th-century pottery on offer across both days, featuring leading names and popular styles such as Royal Albert Old Country Roses, Royal Doulton and Coalport figurines, Wedgwood, Moorcroft, Beswick, Royal Crown Derby, Bunnykins, Beatrix Potter and Kevin Francis & Peggy Davies.
Plenty of lots from our Silverdale Saleroom sold for a good price, so check out some of the highlights from our most recent auction below. Who knows? Maybe they’ll provide some inspiration if you have a valuation in mind.
