Attention avid record collectors! We’ve got over 200 lots of vinyl records going under the hammer at our Cobridge saleroom this month, check out some of the highlights below.
Our Cobridge sale takes place at 10am on Sunday 25th April this month. In line with the easing lockdown restrictions, we’re happy to now be able to provide in-person viewings from 10am-3pm on Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd, and Friday 23rd April, but please note that places are limited and by appointment only. Please call us in advance to book your place. Alternatively, please check out our online catalogue for more information on the available lots. We’re very pleased to also now be able to once again offer in person bidding. Again, we have limited places which can only be made secured by appointment only, so please contact us in advance to book a place.
The sale will still take place online with a video and audio link, so you can continue to bid safely from the comfort of your home. Live online bids can be made through The Saleroom and Easylive Auctions, or commission bids can be made through Potteries Auctions. Find out more on how to submit a commissioned bid at auction. Our Cobridge auction this month is set to feature plenty of unreserved courier lost items, including brand new boxed items, commercial goods, electronics, office equipment, sports equipment and clothing, and household items.
We have an array of large tool collections going under the hammer at our Cobridge saleroom. Lot 408 (left) is a collection of cased hand tools including electric sanders, a grinder and hand tool set. Lot 411 (right) is a mixed collection of DIY hand tools to include clamps, wire brushes, saws, electrical tools and more. Both lots come with an estimate of £15-£30.
We also have large collections of unreserved courier lost items that includes items such clothes and shoes, which often prove popular with our buyers. Lot 397 (left) contains approximately 52 pairs of ladies’ size 5 trainers, sliders and sandals and comes with a sale estimate £50-£100. Lot 399 (right) contains approximately 74 pairs of various ladies’ size 6 shoes and is set to sell for between £60 – £120.
Lot 351 (left) is a large quantity (2 tray’s worth) of M/L men’s shirts and tops with an estimate of £20 – £40. Lot 460 (right) includes 3 pieces of medium size Paul Smith clothing, a t-shirt, pullover and jacket, and is set to sell for £40 – £80.
As always, we have a large selection of house clearance items, antiques, and 20th-century pottery available including Royal Doulton figures and character jugs, Bunnykins, Beswick animals and birds, Beatrix Potter figures, dinner and tea sets, household items, bric a brac, glassware, cranberry glass, collectors’ items, jewellery, watches, collectors’ plates, and much more.

This large collection of 1950’s & 60’s Elvis LP’s, picture discs and 78’s is estimated to sell for £20 – £40 this weekend
Among our vinyl lots, we also have a large and eclectic variety of Beatles records – perfect for anyone looking to extend their Beatles collection. This large collection of 1950’s/60’s Beatles 45rpm singles includes the Hard Day’s Night EP, Beatles for Sale EP 1 & 2, and Fan Club Flexi Discs, as well as Beatles imports.
Lot 683 is a Beatles Collection BC13 14 x LPs Vinyl Box Set with poster that’s set to sell for £50-£100
Lot 685 is a Beatles 1st Pressing Mono Gold Parlophone LP of Please Please Me, with Dick James Music Publishing credits, and comes with an estimate of £100 – £200
Lot 568 (left) is a large collection of 1960’s Beat LP’s to include The Kinks, The Zombies, Mind Benders, Rolling Stones and more, while Lot 575 (right) is a large collection of 1970’s Rock LP’s to include Jimi Hendrix, Yardbirds, Eric Clapton and more. Lot 568 comes with an estimate of £30-£60, and lot 575 with an estimate of £25-£50.
