Lot 503 was a set of three limited edition Wedgwood Clarice Cliff patterned vases in swirls, sliced circle and Mondrian patterns, with certificates, that sold for £300.
Our February 2023 auction took place this month on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th February and featured an exciting array of items, from 20th-century British pottery to large collections of mid-century furniture and more.

This full gold sovereign, dated 1958 and mounted in 9ct gold mount, sold for an impressive £340.
Lot 68 was a Belina Sillars bronze affect sculpture of a race horse on plinth that sold for £420.
This English coin collection includes a Charles II shilling 1663, William III 1696 6d, George III halfcrown 1817, shillings, sixpences and threepences pre 1946 & pre 1920, together with 18th century and later UK and foreign copper, and an unidentified hammered silver coin in fine condition. The lot sold for £300.
As always, pottery pieces proved very popular at auction this month, and we saw a large quantity of rare pottery, including vases, tea ware and figures from famous names such as Royal Doulton, Beswick, Moorcroft, Wedgwood, Lorna Bailey, Coalport, Kevin Francis & Peggy Davies and more, pass through our saleroom and fetch some amazing prices. This Doulton Lambeth stoneware ‘Suffragette Movement’ inkwell in the form of a stoneware baby’s head and shoulders sold for a very reasonable £420.
Mid-century furniture always proves popular at our auctions. This blonde Ercol 2 Door 2 Drawer Bookcase sold for a very reasonable £280.
This blonde Ercol 2 Door 3 Drawer Sideboard sold for £260.
Lot 783 was a set of six Blonde Ercol dining chairs, including two carvers, that sold for £320.
Lot 1120 was a collection of Northlight Group of Resin horse figures. These items were removed from the archives of the Wade factory and are possible prototypes or colour samples! The lot sold for £160.
This Beswick model of a large white turkey sold for £380.
This set of De Lamerie Fine Bone China heavily gilded Majestic floral patterned dinner plates and matching dessert bowls sold for £300.
