January 2024 at Potteries Auctions promises a wonderful collection of 19th Century, Victorian and Edwardian antique furniture for sale.
Lot 479 in our January 12th Antique & Collectors auction is this lovely heavily carved glazed revolving display cabinet. It will be offered with an estimate of £200-£400.
January 12th
Beginning on January 12th, this sale offers an extensive range of Edwardian, Victorian and other 19th Century pieces – including bookcases & display cabinets, garden furniture sets, dining chairs & tables, as well as occasional tables, armchairs, salon chairs and more besides.
This elegant inlaid Edwardian or earlier satinwood games table is Lot number 482 and is estimated at £100-£200.
A nice early 19th Century piece is this rosewood & brass inlaid swivel & fold-over top card table. It will be featured in our January 12th Antique & Collectors auction. Lot 441 is estimated at £60-£120.
Games & card tables, whatnots and lamps will also feature among a plethora of other pieces of antique furniture for sale.
Lot 488G in our January 12th Antique & Collectors auction is this lovely large Victorian carved walnut table mirror. It will be featured with an estimate of £50-£100.
Among the range of garden furniture to be featured in our January 12th Antique & Collectors sale, there is this patio table set with bench seats. Lot 482G is estimated at £50-£100.
January 14th
This further eclectic mix of items includes dining chairs, armchairs & hallchairs, accompanied by dining & side tables.
With an estimate of £50-£100, Lot 627 in our January 14th Cobridge auction is this substantial early 20th Century roll top desk.
Also to be featured in our January 14th Cobridge sale is this large wooden framed oval wall mirror. Lot 623, estimate £20-£40.
Mirrors, bookcases and dressers number among the pieces to be offered, too, as well as drinks-related items, including butlers trays, a cocktail cabinet and even a home bar!
With an estimate of £20-£40, Lot 610 in our January 12th Cobridge auction is this wonderful 1940s presentation cocktail cabinet, containing appropriate glassware.
There’s also a nice choice of furniture for the bedroom, with chests of drawers, plus a walnut veneered double bed frame, and bedside cabinets to be featured.
A lovely piece of bedroom furniture, this Edwardian chest of 2-over-3 drawers will be featured in our January 14th Cobridge auction. The piece also features 3 small secret drawers within both top two drawers. Lot 631, estimate £20-£40.
