Among our many services here at Potteries Auctions, did you know that we sell for charities at auction? Whether you’re struggling with space, moving stock, or feel you have a collection that would be better suited for auction, we’re here to help local charities generate some extra money by selling items on the charity’s behalf.
We understand that charities don’t always have the time and resources to sell large collections. This is where our services come in handy. We can take charity collections and sell them at auction, saving you not only space, but the time and costs associated with separately listing and selling the items yourself, whether it be via Facebook Marketplace, eBay or other third-party selling sites.
When we work with charities, we offer greatly reduced commission rates and selling fees, so you can rest assured that you’ll receive a sum post-auction that will help contribute to the important work that your charity does. We can even pick up and collect your items if you do not have the capabilities to deliver them to one of our salerooms.
In last year’s Toys & Movie Memorabilia timed auction, we were lucky enough to achieve an excellent £940 for Dougie Mac Hospice. Dougie Mac came to us in February 2024 with over 80 toy dragon figures. From there, we entered them straight into a relevant auction where we knew there would be significant bidder interest. This wonderful result through precise curation, marketing and international exposure meant that the money raised could contribute to the essential work Dougie Mac does with patients and families living with life-limiting illnesses.
Here’s a selection of some of the dragons that went under the hammer in our timed sale!

Lot 396 was an Enchantica Dragon Kellrass figure with certificate that sold for £44.

This Enchantica Dragon Massazauga figure on a wooden base with its certificate sold for £55.

Lot 398 was an Enchantica Dragon Quest figure with certificate found a new home for £42.

This impressive Enchantica Arangast Summer Dragon figure EN2266 sold for £85.

Lot 440 was an Enchantica Grawlfang Winter Dragon figure EN2361. It sold for £55.

Lot 453 consisted of four Enchantica Dragon figures; The Summoning of Ethra’Kaal EN2366, Snarlgard Autumn Dragon EN2351, Kellrass EN2180 (with cert) and Incutsus Onslaught AB20004. They sold altogether for £70.

Another collection of four dragon figures, this Enchantica Malgromoth EN2267 figure, together with Land of the Dragons Cruxis K296, a large Nemesis Now Mother with Hatchlings and Nemesis Now Leviathan’s Wrath D247G6, sold for a brilliant £110.
