Our April 2023 Antique & Collectors auction took place this month on Friday 14th April and featured an exciting array of items, from 20th-century British pottery to large collections of jewellery, militaria and more.

Plenty of lots from our monthly Silverdale Saleroom auction this month sold for a good price, so check out some of the highlights from our most recent auction below. Who knows? Maybe they’ll provide some inspiration if you have a valuation in mind.

Lot 633 was an Epiphone guitar model ES 339 Ch in cherry red together with an Orange Crush 20 amplifier, complete with stand and lead, that found a new home for £280.

As always, pottery pieces proved very popular at auction this month, and we saw a large quantity of rare pottery, including vases, tea ware and figures from famous names such as Royal Doulton, Beswick, Moorcroft, Wedgwood, Lorna Bailey, Coalport, Kevin Francis & Peggy Davies and more, pass through our saleroom and fetch some amazing prices. Lot 42 was two sets of Wade Pokemon figures of Jigglypuff, Psyduck, Pikachu, Gengar and Polywhirl, made in 2001 for the release of the Pokemon Gold & Silver Nintendo games. These items were removed from the archives of the Wade factory, and are possibly prototypes or colour samples! The lot sold for an impressive £240 altogether.
