British Pottery, Furniture & Collectors Items Auction: November 2023

At our Cobridge saleroom in Stoke-on-Trent, our second General Auction this month boasts a plethora of ceramics and pottery for sale. Included will be an abundance of dinner and tea ware, among which will be a good selection of Shelley China.

To be featured with an estimate of £100-£200, Lot 73 is this collection of Royal Albert silver maple tea and coffee sets.

Also to be featured are Wedgwood and Wade items, plus a varied selection of Royal Doulton figures, character jugs and Bunnykins, coupled with a broad range of Beswick animals & birds. As well as this, there’s a good amount of glass items to be offered.

Beswick animals & birds to be featured include this Lot comprising Highland cow, Ayrshire bull and Ayrshire cow. Lot 235, estimate £50-£100.

Among the glassware to be featured in our November 26th General Auction is this large etched brandy glass together with ceramic cat and mouse. Lot 81, estimate £20-£40.

A nice choice of toys will be featured, too, with lead soldiers, Star Wars toys and much more besides.

To be featured among the toy Lots is this collection of 00 gauge model railway items, comprising a rare Wrenn W2279/5P BR Black 2-6-4 Standard 4MT 80151, along with an array of mostly Hornby Dublo Meccano coaches. Lot 502, estimate £40-£80.
