Our October auction took place this month on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th October and featured an exciting array of items, from 20th-century British pottery to large collections of collectibles and more.

Lot 13 was a beautiful Royal Doulton Burslem Artwares large Flambe Bird of Paradise vase that sold for £190.
These stunning Moorcroft vases sold for £150 each.
Beswick horses are always a hot commodity at our auctions, and this month was no exception. Lot 252 (left) was a Darker Beswick Dunn Highland Pony 1644 figure that sold for £400; Lot 255 (centre) was a Beswick Huntsman 1501 figure with Green Jacket that sold for £240; Lot 256 (right) was a Beswick Huntsman 1501 figure with Blue Jacket that sold for £260.
As always, pottery pieces proved very popular at auction this month, and we saw a large quantity of rare pottery, including vases, tea ware and figures from famous names such as Royal Doulton, Beswick, Moorcroft, Wedgwood, Coalport, Royal Crown Derby and Kevin Francis, pass through our saleroom and fetch some amazing prices. These Royal Crown Derby Antoinette patterned plates sold for a wonderful £160.
These charming Bradex Clarice Cliff Limited Edition Sunray Vases sold for £150.
Lot 850 was a fabulous collection of 1970’s & 80s Dance Hall, Reggae, Alternative & Pop 7″ vinyl singles including labels Punch, Down Town, Bankrupt Records, Trojan Records, Duke, Summit, Song Bird and more, that sold for a whopping £1250!
This gorgeous two-seater leather settee and stool sold for £180.
Lot 694 was a group of four Wedgwood sterling silver mounted large brooches. This charming set sold for £150.
This vast quantity of UK and world coins dating from the 18th century onwards was contained in 8 full size supermarket cardboard trays! The lot ultimately sold for £200.
Lot 834b was a collection of film compact cameras including a Yashica T4, Canon Epoca, a Samsung Rocas 300 and more, and sold for a very respectable £220.
This framed Wedgwood Clipper Ship Plaque Hurricane painting found a new home for £150.
